Taxi Council South Australia

The affairs of the Council are managed and controlled exclusively by the Committee of Management which in addition to any powers and authorities conferred by these rules exercise all powers and do all things as are in the objects of the Council, and are not by the Act or by these rules required to be done by the Council in a general meeting.

The Committee comprises:

Centralised Booking Service Representatives; One Centralised Booking Service representative for each two hundred (200) taxis or part thereof in a Centralised Booking Service member's fleet, with a maximum of two (2) representatives per Centralised Booking Service; and
Owner/Lessee Operator Representatives; A number of owner/lease representatives, equal to two more than the number of Centralised Booking Service representatives, shall be elected to the Committee at an Annual General Meeting.
